  • Have successfully completed either 3 semesters or 18 hours in the program;

  • After an initial meeting, be available to their mentees either via email or in person to answer questions and discuss relevant issues;
  • Be available to meet with and advise new students during new student orientation and participate in other peer mentor activities at orientation;
  • Attend discussion and feedback sessions each semester.

A Peer Mentor should be prepared to devote about 30 hours to the program over the course of the academic year.
