Pre-K-6 Licensure
The PreK-6 Licensure Program consists of a sequence of courses designed to enable participants to obtain a Collegiate Professional License under the Alternative Licensure guidelines of the Commonwealth of Virginia 8 VAC 20-21-80 Section B (See July 1998 Virginia License Regulations for School Personnel, page 10). Initial Licensure in Special Education
The Initial Licensure in Special Education is designed to meet the rapidly expanding need for well-trained special education teachers throughout the state.
