Gifted Education Add-On Endorsement

(Available in our Hampton Roads, Northern Virginia, Richmond, Roanoke, Southwest, and University Centers)

The University of Virginia's Curry School of Education offers a series of four courses designed specifically for classroom teachers seeking an endorsement in gifted education. The courses are designed to meet the competencies outlined in the licensure regulations for school personnel. They carry the same course titles as on-Grounds courses in the gifted education endorsement sequence and include extended emphasis on application of strategies in the classroom.

The endorsement series is offered on a contractual and/or continuing basis at all of regional centers. All courses in the series offer three graduate credits.
