Medical School Linkages
If you are entering the UVA Post-Bac Pre-Med program with excellent
undergraduate grades, a strong service background, and clinical experience, you
may be interested in applying to medical school through a linkage program. With
this option, exceptionally well qualified Post-Bac Pre-Med students may be able
matriculate in medical school in the summer immediately following the Post-Bac
program.

This route to medical school requires that you only apply to one school and must
attend that school if accepted. Since there are many factors to consider when
deciding whether or not to pursue admission through a linkage agreement, the
Post-Bac Pre-Med Director and Associate Director work closely with Post-Bac
Pre-Med students who are considering this option.
